We are delighted that you are considering Little Acorns (2 year olds) and Four Oaks Primary (3 to 11 year olds) for your child.

For September admissions to Reception class the Local Authority require you to complete an online form. This includes children who attend our Nursery classes. Please ask the office team if you would like any help or advice.

For all other admissions, please contact the school office for an 'Expression of Interest' form which includes details such as the age of your child so we can check if we have a vacancy in the appropriate year group. If you would like to learn more or to see the nursery and school facilities before you make a final decision about which school your child should join, the office team will be happy to help you. 

For pupils from Reception to Year 6 we follow Northern Schools Trust's Admission policy which is below. If you have any questions about any aspect of school or the Admissions Policy please ask any member of the office team - they will be very happy to help you. 

Parents/Carers may submit an appeal if their Reception child's application is unsuccessful.  

The appeals should be on the Appeal Form and should be submitted by 25th May 2024.  Parents/Carers will be provided with 10 days' notice of an appeal hearing and this will be held by 16th July 2024.  If an appeal is lodged after 25th May 2024, the hearing will take place within 40 school days of the deadline where possible or 30 days of the date on which it was lodged.

Appeal hearings will be heard by an independent panel and their decision is final and binding for the parents/carers and the school.

For applications for other year groups, appeals may be lodged on the appeal form, parents will be informed 10 days prior to the hearing and it will be held within 30 days of the appeal being lodged.
